Casey Miller Major: Exploratory

How did you choose your major? If you are still Exploratory, how are you working on choosing a major and what choices are you considering?

My first year I began by taking classes that seemed to be something I would be interested in, and narrowed it down from there. I found a love for Sociology and Anthropology, but I might go into the the Integrative Studies program and create my own major!

What was your favorite resource to use when you were an Exploratory student?

The Peer Leaders/Ambassadors and Exploratory events helped me a lot. There was always someone to answer any questions I had and they helped me make friends with other people in the program.

What do you like most about the Exploratory program?

The people in the program are all so helpful to new students and each other, because we're all going through the same process.

What is your biggest piece of advice to other Exploratory students?

Take advantage of everything the Exploratory Program has to offer! There is always support if you need it.

What extracurricular activities are you involved with on campus?

I am on the e-board of IC Books Thru Bars, a member of H.E.A.R.D., and also the Student Anthropological Society.
