How to Complete Your Registration at Ithaca College

NOTE: Fall 2024 registration applications open on Monday, June 24, 2024.

  1. Please read through the instructions on the Course Offerings and Registration webpage. On that webpage you will find the Registration Request Application for Fall 2024. On that application, you can select the Fall term from a drop down menu. You can register for Semester, Block I and Block II courses on the same application.

  2. Secure any required approval(s) for a prerequisite override, capacity override, or for graduate study, and forward emails signaling approval to oes@ithaca.edu.

  3. Complete Cornell's CU-IC Exchange Program petition and secure approval signatures.

  4. Submit the approved Cornell petition to the Ithaca College Office of Extended Studies (OES) by email to oes@ithaca.edu anytime before or during the first week of classes. Official registration for students taking part in the IC-CU Exchange program will happen during the first week of Ithaca College classes on a space-available basis.

  5. Once your registration is complete and you've activated your Netpass credentials, you may obtain an I.D. card from the I.D. Office. An I.D. is required in order to register a vehicle to park on the Ithaca College campus, checking books out of the library, and for admission to athletic events and facilities.

  6. You will be required to upload proof of COVID vaccination before the start of classes. Note that you will receive instructions on how to upload after you've activated your Netpass credentials.

  7. If you plan to have a vehicle on campus you must register your vehicle with Ithaca College Parking Services. You will need Ithaca College Netpass Username and Password to register your vehicle online

How to Obtain Your Transcript

Ithaca College does not automatically send transcripts to the Cornell University Office of the Registrar. It is the responsibility of the student to request that the transcript be sent once a course is completed and the grade issued. More information on how to request an official transcript (or print an unofficial transcript) from the Ithaca College Office of the Registrar can be found at this link
