Primitive Pursuits is proud to bring to Ithaca legendary birder, tracker, naturalist and author Jon Young, who will share his doorway into bird language and reveal insights from his book What the Robin Knows.

This groundbreaking book unites indigenous knowledge, the latest research, and the author's own experience of four decades in the field to lead us toward a deeper connection to the animals and, in the end, a deeper connection to ourselves. More than just a master birder and tracker, Jon Young has been a visionary and guide for Primitive Pursuits and many of our friends dedicated to deep nature connection and cultural mentoring.

When: Friday, April 12, 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Come early for a seat, as space is limited.

Where: Lab of Ornithology, 159 Sapsucker Woods Road

It's free, but donations are welcome, and copies of his book will be available for purchase at the event!
