Bio Statement
Over the past year, Baneet Pukhrambam has remained deeply engaged in service and leadership work, both on and off campus. His community service has centered on addressing food insecurity. For the last year, he has volunteered at Prunty’s Food Pantry, directing traffic, checking in patrons, and assisting visitors to ensure a supportive experience. This Fall, he also volunteered at the Brooktondale Community Center, where he helped prepare 50 apple pies for the organization’s Annual Apple Pie Bee fundraiser.
On campus, Baneet has taken on several leadership roles. He serves as President of the International Club and President of the Senior Class of 2026. He is also Co-Chair of the Admission Host Committee, helping welcome prospective students and their families to Ithaca College. In the Roy H. Park School of Communications, he works as a Project Manager with Park Productions and remains an active member of the Delta Kappa Alpha Cinematic Society.
During the summer, Baneet interned in Los Angeles as a Scripted Development Intern at Media Res Studio, where he contributed to research, creative development, and content evaluation for upcoming projects. He has also interned at Ramo Law PC, American High, Together TV, and Immortal Cinema International. These experiences have strengthened his professional skills in the entertainment industry.
Baneet’s dedication to service and leadership has been recognized through the Peggy Ryan Williams Award for Academic and Community Leadership and the Anne Siegel ’81 Memorial Scholarship.
What does it mean to be an IAP Scholar?
Being an IAP scholar is about making use of every available resource to prepare us to succeed in and after college. The program gives us a push to think about and act on the social and professional footprint we wish to leave.
