Bio Statement
Jagrit Dhingra has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to academic excellence and technical leadership over the past year. During the summer, he completed a high-impact internship as an AI/ML Intern at Zarnite, where he applied advanced analytical strategies to develop and optimize machine learning models. On campus, Jagrit serves as the President of Beat Code, where he coordinates technical workshops and initiatives designed to foster peer mentorship and collaborative problem-solving.
His dedication to service is anchored in his work with a local food pantry, where he focuses on streamlining resource distribution to combat food insecurity within the community. This fall, he has furthered his intellectual trajectory by collaborating on a research project with Professor Ali, aiming to integrate his professional interests in artificial intelligence with academic rigor. Jagrit’s efforts were recently recognized with induction in the Oracle Honor Society, an honor that underscores his scholastic excellence and his potential as a technical leader. He remains a dedicated advocate for community growth, consistently seeking ways to mentor his peers and contribute to an intellectually vibrant and inclusive campus environment.
What does it mean to be an IAP Scholar?
To me, being an IAP Scholar means being part of a community that refuses to separate academic success from social responsibility. It is personally meaningful because the program provides the mentorship and platform I need to turn my individual career ambitions into a collective benefit for my community.
