ICLA Housing is undergoing some changes!
ICLA students are classified as off-campus students. Students can choose to reside at the AVA Toluca Hills Apartments or AVA Burbank Apartments by signing leases with Kapi, a student-housing company. The Toluca Hills Apartments, at 3600 Barham Blvd, are about a ten-minute walk from ICLA's offices and classrooms in the James B. Pendleton Center, where classes are held and the Ithaca LA offices are located. The AVA Burbank Apartments, at 401 Pass Avenue, about a 20 minute walk from the Pendleton Center. Both Kapi apartment locations are close to the Warner Bros. Studio lot, and conveniently located near NBC and The Walt Disney Studios.
Kapi offers fully furnished studio and two bedroom/two bathroom floorplans at both addresses, giving students different options for private or shared rooms. Please visit the Kapi website for more details.
Personal Property
Ithaca College does not provide insurance coverage of personal property that you have in your apartment. Renter's insurance coverage is optional. For insurance coverage, you may obtain your own coverage through the broker contracted by Ithaca College or from a broker of your choice.
Shipping personal items to Los Angeles
If you cannot bring all the items you need with you on your journey to Los Angeles, we advise you to ship those items to our office in the Pendleton Center before you arrive in Los Angeles, or to your apartment after your arrival.
