Experiential learning: expand your skills

History students conduct independent research on projects they design, leading to opportunities to present their work, earn summer fellowships, and graduate with Honors.

Spend the Summer Doing Research!

Each year, the School of Humanities and Sciences awards summer scholarships for students to carry out independent research.  Many History students have been selected for this program, and have used the time to complete honors theses and other research projects.  You can read here about some of their work.
