The History Department is pleased to be able to offer a number of scholarships and awards to our students, including

To be eligible, you must be a History major planning to continue at Ithaca College as an undergraduate student and History major during the 2023-2024 Academic Year and you must have a 3.0 GPA overall and in your history classes.

To apply, please submit three (3) papers you have written in history classes at Ithaca College, and include a 1-2 page cover letter that explains how these papers best reflect your work as a history student.  Email your cover letter and papers to Professor Jason Freitag (jfreitag@ithaca.edu).

The deadline for applications is Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

Funding Opportunities Outside the Department

Funding for individual student projects -- internships, travel to archives or to conferences, and more -- may also be available through the H&S Dean's office or the IC Provost's office.
