At IC, you'll explore the stories that shaped our world—from ancient civilizations to contemporary conflicts—and develop the skills to think critically about the future.

Our faculty provide expertise in U.S., European, Latin American, Asian, and Middle Eastern histories, among others. With their guidance, you'll examine the history of different eras & cultures while considering broader thematic & interdisciplinary issues.

Gain Real-World Experience

Intern at museums, historical societies, archives, government agencies, nonprofits, or cultural organizations. Apply your historical thinking to contemporary challenges and build professional networks before graduation.
