Do Something Different This Summer

We know this is a challenging and unprecedented time for you as a student, and for us, at Ithaca College. We have successfully moved to online instruction, which was necessary to help protect the health and well-being of our community and will continue through our summer sessions. Facing this new normal, we are committed to making the online experience robust and engaging and to provide you with multiple opportunities to make the most of your summer.

Explore Summer Sessions at Ithaca College

Summer Sessions at IC are three consecutive sessions, each equivalent to a 15-week semester. Students are welcome to attend all three sessions. Because of the accelerated class schedule, students are limited to a maximum credit load per session.

Summer Sessions offer a variety of undergraduate courses, ranging from liberal arts and natural sciences to business, communications, health sciences, and music. With two five-week sessions and one two-week session, you can easily plan a summer schedule that meets your needs and interests. More than 70 courses—all taught by our outstanding IC faculty members—are offered fully online, allowing you to engage with Ithaca College's intellectual community from anywhere.

Enrollment is open to all current IC undergraduate students with for whom summer study is an optional term, as well as non-degree students, including alumni, community members, and students from other colleges. A special program has also been developed for our incoming first-year students

But Summer Sessions at IC Are Much More Than Just Coursework...

In addition to an expanded menu of courses, our summer programming will also include a rich array of extra-curricular programming, internship opportunities, and other ways to help our students to not miss a beat with their IC experience.
