What is Leadership Weekend?
The Leadership Weekend Retreat is a program designed by the Office of Student Engagement and the Office of New Student and Transition Programs for all first-year students at IC. Together, our offices encourage emerging leaders to discuss their personal thoughts on leadership,  connect with like-minded first-year students, and further their involvement at the college. In addition, Leadership Weekend gives first-year students a chance to enhance their collegiate experiences as they navigate the vastness of what it means to be engaged.

What are the logistics of this event?
Leadership Weekend is held off campus at the Casowasco Camp Retreat Center in Moravia, New York. Both offices cover the expenses of lodging, meals, transportation and retreat materials for those who wish to participate. Leadership Weekend begins on Friday afternoon and concludes on Saturday evening. Student who will join us for weekend festivities will receive an excused absence letter for Friday afternoon classes provided by the professional staff members facilitating this retreat. Participants are required to travel with the group and must attend the entirety of the program.
