Who is this retreat for?
This retreat is open to all Ithaca College students who are interested in learning more about the historical experiences of women in leadership and how to cultivate women in leadership in the future. This retreat counts as three Leading in a Diverse World sessions in the Student Leadership Institute.
What are the logistics of this event?
This day-long program will feature a visit to the Women's Rights National Historic Park and Museum, a series of activities and discussion sessions, and prominent women leaders sharing their own experiences. This year's theme is Peace and Love through Activism! Lunch, transportation and all retreat materials are included. There is no fee for attendees. All participants must travel with the group and must attend the program in its entirety. The bus will leave Ithaca College at 9:00am and return to campus at 6:00pm on Saturday, March 25, 2023.
How do I sign up?
Participants signed up for the retreat in February and are confirmed. Although space is limited, please email mlenhart@ithaca.edu to be placed on the waitlist, as spots may open up! All applicants will be contacted by e-mail on March 1 with additional information about the retreat. Please note that once you commit to the retreat, you are expected to attend.
