What is Emerging Leaders Weekend?
The Emerging Leaders Weekend retreat is a program designed by the Office of Student Engagement for all sophomore year students at IC. Through this retreat we encourage emerging leaders to discuss their personal thoughts on leadership, connect with like-minded students, and further their involvement at the college. This wonderful day-long retreat includes meals, activities, workshops, and more to help new students get involved in Ithaca College leadership!
Join us to learn about your leadership strengths, explore DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) concepts, and hear from student leaders across campus. Plus, we'll have some delicious food and purely fun activities as well! In addition, the Emerging Leaders Retreat gives students a chance to enhance their collegiate experiences by building on their strengths and becoming a positive change agent on campus and beyond.
What are the logistics of this event?
Emerging Leaders Retreat is held on and off campus on Saturday, February 21st. There is no cost to students to participate and all materials, meals, and snacks will be provided. Participants are expected to attend the entirety of the program.

Register through the IC Engage form by Friday, February 13th, 2026 at 5 PM. Registration will be filled on a first-to-sign-up basis. Space is limited so we encourage interested students to sign up early.
