How have you benefited from being involved in a student organization at IC? Being involved in the Student Activities Board has allowed me to meet people I may not have met otherwise, take part in planning fun and accessible large-scale events for the IC student body, put my creative mind together with other members, and lead a team of students who are so committed and motivated in everything they do. Being in a student organization has empowered me to use my voice, make new connections, and get creative!

What is your favorite weird smell? I love the smell of a new book! This could be a book to read or a notebook. The smell puts me in a focused and excited mood because I associate it with back-to-school shopping and, of course, some of my favorite books that I still own today.

What is your go to karaoke song? One of my go to karaoke songs is Rainbow Connection. I have always loved the Muppets, especially Kermit himself, and when I was younger my dad would always play the song in the car for me to sing along to and serenade the family. It's a classic, fun song that has a meaningful message. Plus everyone can sing along!

Did I mention there’s free tea, coffee, and sometimes treats? :)

What is something that seems like it should appeal to you but it doesn't? Hiking. I can walk on and on, but as soon as you put an incline in the ground, count me out! There’s also some irony in the fact that I’m a local with an all-access pass to some of the most beautiful sights (that may or may not require a hike).

Where do you prefer to sit in a movie theater? Middle section, I won’t accept any other answer! Sit too high your neck hurts, sit too low your neck hurts…
