Staff member at Ithaca College since 2023
As someone who was born and raised in central New York and graduated from a very small, rural public school (Milford Central School) that instilled in me the value of the liberal arts, it is a joy to be at Ithaca College. I'll add that, as a literature nerd, it's also a joy to live in a town named for the island in Greece where the legendary Odysseus sought his home in Homer's Odyssey.
When I'm on not on South Hill giving presentations to visitors and reviewing student applications, I enjoy biking to Taughannock Falls, journaling at Gimme Coffee on State St., political activism, and playing north Indian music on the sitar and sarod. Both Ithaca College and the "city" of Ithaca have excellent opportunities for musicians, artists, outdoors-enthusiasts, and food lovers, and I am happy to be a resource to students and families on their own odyssey of higher education.
