As a Junior Acting Major with minors in dance and business, Kai is a very active face around the Campus of IC! Outside of School, throughout the summers he works as a Theatre Teaching Assistant Counselor at the North Carolina Governors School. Kai has been an active recipient of the Dean's list in the Dillingham Center, while maintaining his status as an IAP Scholar!
Being a part of the BAU E-board, Kai produced and directed a staged production of Songs for a New World, titled “Song’s for a Black World” with an All Black cast. He is currently producing and directing a play titled Circle Mirror Transformation written by Annie Baker for Dillingham Spotlight’s third season!
What does it mean to be an IAP Scholar?
To me, being an IAP scholar means taking the initiative to spread my commitments and get more involved within the wider community of IC. As a Dillingham Student, there is not a lot of push for connection with outside fields, organizations, jobs, or majors and being in this Program has allowed me to make an impact towards the larger aspects of this Campus!
