Over the past year, Manan has taken on several roles that connect his academic interests in Business Analytics and Computer Science to hands-on service within his campus community. Since January 2026, he has served as a Resident Assistant in Holmes Hall at Ithaca College, acting as the first point of contact for his residence community, mediating conflicts, responding to emergencies, and building one-on-one relationships with residents. This fall, he was also selected to join the Resident Assistant Association Advisory Board, where he raises resident and RA concerns directly with the Director of Residential Life, and he has been organizing a bulletin board on his floor dedicated to campus resource information for students.
Manan also spent the past year as a Peer Tutor at Ithaca College's Unity Centre, facilitating workshops on social topics and supporting large-scale campus events, and as a Student Assistant in the Office of International Programs, providing administrative support for study-abroad services. Prior to his RA appointment, he represented his class as the Class of 2028 Senator, presenting student-life initiatives to college administration.
Over the summer, Manan worked as a Web Application Developer for B.R Enterprises, building a custom e-commerce platform, and continued as a Beta Developer Tester for Apple, testing unreleased software and reporting usability issues. He also joined a Smart India Hackathon team building an AI-enabled skill-mapping platform for India's Ministry of Statistics and Programmed Implementation.
