Aditya Valecha is a sophomore at Ithaca College studying Computer Science and Finance (Asset Management concentration), with a minor in the Innovation Scholars Program. He is extremely passionate about leadership, innovation, and problem-solving. Since his first semester, Aditya has been an active member of the Student Governance Council (SGC). As a Senator-at-Large, he represents the entire student body in weekly full senate meetings, advocating for student interests, addressing student-related issues with administrators, and shaping campus-wide policies. Additionally, he serves on the SGC Appropriations Committee, where he reviews funding requests from student organizations. In this role, Aditya collaborates with peers to evaluate proposals, ensuring that funds are allocated fairly and responsibly to enrich campus life and student programming.
Expanding his impact beyond student government, Aditya serves as an Associate for Core Trading Consultants, where he bridges his academic focus in asset management with practical, analytical finance experience. Furthermore, he fosters global community and cultural engagement on campus in his role as the Event Manager for the Ithaca College International Club. Through his diverse educational and co-curricular experiences, Aditya continuously integrates leadership, technical skill development, and collaboration to make a lasting, positive impact at Ithaca College while preparing for a dynamic career at the intersection of technology and finance
