He is passionate about volunteering both on and off campus with the support of his scholarship programs. Last semester and again this semester, Ayush volunteered at the Kendal at Ithaca retirement community, where he helped elderly residents navigate technology and better understand their phones and devices. He found this experience especially meaningful and learned that with patience, many challenges can be overcome. In addition, Ayush has volunteered with PPGA, where he helped raise awareness at Apple Fest about how the “Big Beautiful Bill” impacts healthcare in the United States. He has also participated in the South Hill Clean Up. He believes these opportunities have helped him grow significantly as an individual.
With the support of his IAP scholarship, Ayush hopes to continue contributing more to the campus community while further developing himself and growing into a better and more responsible person.
