Bio Statement
Jini Pukhrambam is a first-year Psychology Major with a Counselling and French Minor, an international student from India. For the second summer in a row, she interned in the Creative Department in a Non-Profit Organisation for climate change and sustainability, Breatheblue foundation. In August 2025, she wished to continue her passion for dance and joined two dance clubs on campus, Island Fusion and IC Unbound. She volunteered during Apple Fest for Planned Parenthood, helping get 900+ petitions signed. Her second volunteering experience was at Brooktondale Community Centre. Her team helped them by preparing for their biggest fundraiser of the year: The Annual Apple Pie Bee! At the Belle Sherman Elementary School, she helped put up an International stall to spread knowledge about Southeast Asia through a Map Game.

During the spring semester, she joined the E-board of the International Club of Ithaca College as a Public Relations Assistant. Through this position, she helps connect with different student organizations and the international students on campus creatively. She is also expanding her dance abilities by being one of the choreographers for her dance club’s showcase, Revolution by Island Fusion. She has been an active employee around campus, working in Dining Services since Fall 2025, and getting new opportunities to build her skills through her Work-Study position in the Office of International Programs and building meaningful relationships with faculty and her peers by being a Peer Tutor in the Academic Success Centre. She is looking forward to her position as an RA for fall 2026, hoping to build a respectful college community.
