A two-hour workshop on child abuse identification and prevention. Offered at least once each semester. Pass-Fail only. (F-S) Please note: The Child Abuse Identification and Prevention workshop was updated in 2025 to include information on reducing implicit bias in decision making processes and provides improved and detailed guidelines to assist in recognizing signs of abuse or maltreatment. Ithaca College started offering the updated workshop as of September 2025. To verify that you have the latest version of the workshop, check in your TEACH account under "Workshops" where the latest version will be listed as “Child Abuse Identification (Second Update)."
