If you are not currently attending Ithaca College because of a suspension or were withdrawn from IC for another reason and want approval to ensure your credits will transfer to IC, please send an email to registrar@ithaca.edu with the following information:

  1. Full Name
  2. ID or Date of Birth
  3. Name of Institution you will be attending
  4. City and State of Institution
  5. Term you will be taking the course
  6. How many credits the course is worth
  7. Course Number
  8. Course Title
  9. Full Course Description or attached course syllabus
  10. What IC Subject Area do you want this to apply to
  11. Please tell us if this is for readmission or final classes needed to graduate

A Petition for Transfer Credit Form will be submitted on your behalf for each course to be reviewed. You will receive an email once the course(s) are approved or denied.

Please do not submit this information if you have never attended Ithaca College before. Please contact the Office of Admission at admission@ithaca.edu or 607-274-3124 for guidance.
