Summer & Fall 2026 Continuing Student Course Registration

DegreeWorks heading screenshot

The Summer and Fall 2026 course schedule will be available to view on HomerConnect and DegreeWorks beginning, Monday, March 23, 2026, by noon. Additional information regarding Summer courses can be found at https://www.ithaca.edu/academics/summer-ithaca-college/undergraduate-summer-sessions.

On Monday, March 30, 2026, after 12pm, students will be able to view their Registration Status (aka Time Ticket) on HomerConnect. Registration Status/Time Ticket lets students know what day and time they can begin to register for classes. Assignments are based on credits EARNED which can be viewed in HomerConnect as "Overall Hours" or in the students' DegreeWorks header as "earned credits". DegreeWorks also includes credits applied which is NOT used for assignments.

To ensure the most accurate time ticket, students should complete the following prior to Friday, March 13, 2026:

  • Confirm all transfer credits have been awarded, including but not limited to, AP, IB and CLEP.
  • Complete any change of majors/minors/concentrations via IC workflow.
  • NGS and Incomplete grades changes are completed
  • Time Ticket assignment is based on credits earned; in-progress Spring 2026 credits ARE NOT considered for the purposes of Time Ticket assignment.

To check your credits earned, navigate to your Student Profile page on HomerConnect and view Overall Hours or Earned Credits on the DegreeWorks header.

DegreeWorks also includes the classes you are currently taking in credits applied, this is NOT what time ticketing is based on.

When using your HomerConnect Profile page, ensure the Fall 2026 term is selected in the upper left corner. To find your time ticket: click on Registration Notices in the upper right corner. You can also check holds here. Not all holds block registration; please be sure to look at Processes Affected. Please reach out to the originator of the hold to resolve the issue.

Once Fall registration begins, Prerequisite Checking and Course Restrictions WILL include review of your in-progress Spring courses.

The IC Workflow override system opens with your time ticket (not before). You cannot submit an override until your time ticket opens.
