On April 9th, our 1st and 2nd year Graduate Athletic Training students had the opportunity to participate in a capstone field trip to Sports Medicine Concepts (SMC), a sports emergency care education facility.
SMC offers immersive trianing environment with realistic field setups, advanced patient simulators, and scenario-based learning that mirrors real-life emergencies.
During this capstone experience, our students applied their knowledge in a series of emergency care scenarios, reinforcing both technical skills and teamwork in high-pressure situations.
