Agilent UV-Vis 8453 is an ultraviolet and visible light spectrophotometer. Equipped with a diode array detector, this instrument can record data from 190 to 1100 nm in a second. There is also a temperature-controlled cell holder which makes the measurements at different temperature possible. Purchased in 2004, it has been used in wide ranged applications, such as biochemical kinetics, reaction monitoring, quantitative analysis of compounds in solutions, and etc.
