Brian K. Beeler brings more than three decades of legal and executive leadership in the healthcare and life sciences industries to the Ithaca College Board of Trustees. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Horizon Therapeutics, where he guided the company through a major corporate restructuring, including the relocation of its headquarters to Ireland, as well as its acquisitions of Hyperion Therapeutics, Raptor Pharmaceutical, and Viela Bio. Over the course of his career, he has held senior legal and compliance roles at Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America, TAP Pharmaceuticals, Schwarz Pharma (as Chief Compliance Officer), and Fenwal, Inc., developing deep expertise in corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, tax, and regulatory compliance.

Brian currently leads Three Gate Capital, a private family office overseeing investments across venture capital, public markets, and real estate. He holds a B.A. in History from Purdue University, a J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Brian is drawn to Ithaca College’s commitment to ethical leadership and principled education—values that mirror his own career built on integrity, compliance, and sound corporate governance. His connection to the College is also personal: his son, Blake, is a member of the Class of 2027 at the Roy H. Park School of Communications, where he is a film major.
