Chris Lee is Vice President of Global Learning and Development at Dell Technologies, where he leads L&D strategy and upskilling for more than 90,000 team members across technical, sales, professional, and leadership roles. His work focuses on modernizing how Dell develops talent in an era of AI and rapidly changing work.
Chris has spent 14 years at Dell in roles spanning HR business partnership, organizational development, talent management, and HR operations leadership. His tenure and contributions have spanned two major moments in the company's history: the $24 billion take-private in 2013, at the time the largest technology privatization in history, and the $67 billion acquisition of EMC in 2016, then the largest technology merger ever completed.
Chris earned a bachelor's degree from Ithaca College in 2010 and a master's in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University's ILR School in 2012. He returns to the board having previously served as Student Trustee from 2008 to 2010. Since graduating, he has remained closely engaged with the college as Young Alumni Chair of the IC Annual Fund, an Executive Sponsor recruiting IC students for Dell's HR Rotation Program, and a member of the college's Alumni Association Board of Directors.
He lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife and two children.
