Bailey Bramer ’27 always knew she wanted a career in publishing, but her internship with Cornell University Press helped her pinpoint the roles that excite her most. A writing major and art minor at IC, Bailey had already completed two internships, including the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the Tompkins County Public Library Foundation, thanks to connections and leads from the writing department.
"All of my internships have been deeply concerned with making sure that I not only have experience in my field of choice, but that I have things that I can actively add to a portfolio," Bailey says.
If she could give one piece of advice to students, it would be: “Do internships. They are life changing!”
