Inspiring Internships

Isabela Hernandez ’27 turned her passion for public service into action during an internship with State Senator Lea Webb. A double major in philosophy and politics with a concentration in international studies, she learned the inner workings of public office—fielding community concerns, supporting legislative efforts, and shaping outreach strategy. Her bold idea to add Hispanic Heritage Month to the office calendar? Approved.
