CAPS provides short-term counseling, that is free and confidential, to enrolled students who may benefit from intermittent and/or brief psychotherapy. CAPS is not able to provide clinical services for faculty and staff members of the College. Employees may seek assistance through Ithaca College's Employee Assistance Program.

Outreach
- A drop-in service that offers informal, confidential consultations with a CAPS counselor at various locations around campus.
- A mental health crisis prevention and intervention program offered by CAPS counselors.
Same Day Crisis Services
- Emergencies requiring immediate attention may arise for students seeking our services. Same Day Crisis Services are available from 2:30-4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Please call CAPS at 607-274-3136 to see if these services are appropriate for your circumstances.
Group Counseling

- CAPS provides process, skills, and various themed groups and workshops available to students.
Individual Counseling
- Any enrolled student can make an appointment for an initial visit with a counselor to assess clinical needs and recommendations and to identify appropriate resources.
