December 2025 Graduates,
As you approach the final stretch of your college journey, we are excited to share details about an important milestone — our December Commencement Ceremony. This special event is our opportunity to recognize the proud moment that college graduation represents, and to celebrate the incredible hard work, dedication, and perseverance you’ve shown in reaching this achievement. We look forward to honoring you and your fellow Ithaca College graduates.
Date and Time: Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
Location: Glazer Arena, Athletics and Events Center
Arrival and Duration: Doors open at 9:00 a.m. Graduates should arrive no later than 9:15 a.m. and guests should be seated by 9:30 a.m. The ceremony is expected to end by 12:00 p.m.

During the week of October 20, eligible graduates will receive an invitation to join Tassel, our official Commencement registration platform. Through Tassel , you’ll be able to:
- Confirm your participation in the ceremony or let us know you can’t make it
- Submit pronunciation guidance for your name
- Review additional next steps

To help you start your planning, below are some topics that we get asked about frequently.
- Eligibility – Students are deemed eligible for Commencement once they have successfully applied for a degree through the Office of the Registrar. Class of 2025 December graduates are also invited to participate in our May 2026 Commencement ceremony.
- Regalia – Graduation regalia – cap and gown – is required for all Class of 2025 graduates planning to participate in the December Commencement ceremony. Regalia will be available through the Campus Store once Tassel launches.
- Diplomas – Graduates will receive their diploma cover and medallion during the ceremony. Diplomas for December graduates will be mailed in late-January 2026 once all graduation requirements have been met.
- Guests – All guests are welcome with no tickets required and no limit on the number that may attend. Seating is first come-first serve.
- Parking – Guests may park in any legal parking space without a permit on Commencement Day.
- Accessibility – Accessible seating and parking are available as needed by request. For more specific accommodations please contact commencement@ithaca.edu.
- Photography – A photographer will be present to take photos of graduates as they cross the stage and after in a posed position. Photos will be available for purchase from Island Photography.
- Livestream – For family members and supporters who are unable to travel to Ithaca for the celebration, we will be offering a livestream of the ceremony.
