Dr. James Minas is an Assistant Professor in the Ithaca College School of Business where he teaches courses in business analytics, operations management and the decision sciences.
James' research interest is modelling and analysis of complex decision problems in application areas such as: disaster preparedness and response, supply chain coordination, business continuity and healthcare delivery. His work has been published in leading journals including: Computers & Operations Research, Decision Support Systems, European Journal of Operational Research and Omega.
James received his PhD in Operations Research from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He is an active member of the: Decision Sciences Institute (DSI), Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) and Production and Operations Management Society (POMS).
