The Impact of Giving

Hundreds of gifts support multiple campus causes on Giving Tuesday.

Student health and wellness at Ithaca College was at the forefront of the Ithaca College community on Giving Tuesday, as funds were raised in support of several student-based programs.

A total of 243 gifts were made and $33,951 of total revenue was raised throughout the day.

Of that, 185 gifts and $12,451 went to three featured funds that support three different areas of campus: Prunty's Pantry, the college’s on-campus food pantry; The Student Emergency Relief Fund; and the Center for Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS).

Still in the giving spirit?

There are still plenty of ways you can give back to Ithaca College. More information about giving opportunities can be found here.

Held annually on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Giving Tuesday is a global effort designed to inspire generosity and make positive change in the lives of others.

“The results of Giving Tuesday are a testament to the way our entire IC community strives to support our students' mental and physical well-being throughout the year,” said Laine Norton, vice president for philanthropy and engagement. “We are incredibly thankful for the generosity of our community and for everyone who made this day such a success.”
