After Dinner Mint faculty showcase of music exploring the many aspects of love in all its wonder and wit, featuring works by Bolcom, Britten, Offenbach, Wagner and others; 7 p.m., Hockett Family Recital Hall, Whalen Center.
“Renaissance in the Belly of a Killer Whale,” a performance of spoken word poetry, theatre, dance and song that tells the story of three young women coming to terms with the gentrification of the Harlem they grew up in and love; 7 p.m., Klingenstein Lounge, Egbert Hall.
“UNLOADED,” an exhibit featuring multimedia work by 20 contemporary artists that examines the historical and social issues surrounding the availability, use and impact of guns in our lives from a number of perspectives; through March 6, Handwerker Gallery, Gannett Center.
