Concert by the Symphony Orchestra, featuring the Ithaca Piano Competition concerto winner and works by Adams and Strauss; 4 p.m., Ford Hall, Whalen Center.

“In the Moog: The Sociology of New Sounds,” a presentation by Trevor Pinch, author of “Analog Days: The Invention and Impact of the Moog Synthesizer” and the Goldwin Smith Professor of Science and Technology Studies at Cornell University; 7 p.m., room 111, Park Center for Business and Sustainable Enterprise.

The gallery is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m.–9 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, noon–5 p.m.
