Ithaca College Theatre Presents “The Language Archive” by Julia Cho

By Jaden Levine '23, March 27, 2023
A poignant and necessary exploration of love.

Ithaca College Theatre continues its 2022-23 season with the Susan Blacksmith Prize-winning play “The Language Archive” by Julia Cho, directed by Marc Gomes, assistant professor of theatre and dance performance. Presented in the Earl McCarroll Theatre, performances run on select dates March 24-30.

“The Language Archive” follows the story of George and Mary. George, a linguist who’s dedicated his work to preserving languages, can’t quite find the words to preserve his own language of love. The story balances moments of drama and comedy as it illustrates George and Mary’s unspoken love for each other.

“The Language Archive” is presented by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing, LLC, servicing the Dramatists Play Service collection. (www.dramatists.com
