Novelist Percival Everett Will Give Reading at Ithaca College

ITHACA, NY—Prolific novelist Percival Everett will read from his latest collection of short stories, “Half an Inch of Water,” answer questions and sign books at Ithaca College on Thursday, April 7. His 7:30 p.m. presentation in Clark Lounge, Egbert Hall, is free and open to the public.

The author of nearly 30 books, Everett is a Distinguished Professor of English at the University of Southern California. A number of his stories are set in the American West, which he has described as “a place of calm and comfort, danger and extremes.”

Everett’s novels include “Percival Everett by Virgil Russell,” “Assumption,” “Erasure,” “I Am Not Sidney Poitier” and “Glyph.” He is a recipient of the Academy Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the Hurston/Wright Legacy Award, the Believer Book Award and the 2006 PEN USA Center Award for Fiction.
