Introduction

Physical space is an extremely valuable and costly resource that must be continuously evaluated and managed. The Space Management Working Group was formed to ensure that all Ithaca College owned and operated spaces are assigned appropriately, utilized efficiently, and reported accurately. While some space and buildings are better suited to specific functions and other space is more traditionally known to be part of one school or another, any space can be repurposed to meet the highest and best needs of the College. The assignment, utilization, renovation and any other alteration of space is ultimately the responsibility of and controlled by (via final approvals) the President.
