Ithaca College Theatre
"Powerful material and strong themes stimulate thoughtful conversations, which we hope will inspire change. This year’s season focuses on “imagining” and “re-imagining” from Branden Jacobs-Jenkins’s inspired take on the morality play Everyman, to David Adjmi’s extreme take on Marie Antoinette. In between those two shows, we’ve chosen the irresistible pull of Sister Act, Purcell’s operatic masterpiece Dido and Aeneas, the theatrical search for meaning of Pippin, and in our studio venue, a contemporary version of Henrik Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler and an astonishing new play by Ike Holter about connection (and its loss): Sender." ~Catherine Weidner '85 (BFA Acting), Chair~
