During her time on campus, Jaycin has been exploring and trying different clubs and opportunities around campus. Currently, Jaycin is involved with the a cappella group Nuvo. She has performed at multiple events. These events include Apple Fest, One World Concert, and The Board of Trustees event. Upcoming, Jaycin will be performing at The AAA Banquet and Nuvo’s Showcase. Jaycin has also recently involved herself in Park Promotions, by helping create flyers for Park-O-Ween.
Jaycin is excited for more opportunities for community and campus service but recently she has helped The Unity Center with their voter registration table. Regarding involvement off campus, Jaycin has led student teacher conferences to educate teachers on how to better help students. She has also made a film about growing up a minority in schools with predominantly white staff and has presented it in a local film festival and to a conference of 500 educators.
