The Documentary Studies and Production program has partnered with two departments for interdisciplinary opportunities: Politics and World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures.
This initiative facilitates dynamic connections between these three areas of study in the humanities and the communication and critical analysis skills that are fostered in the Documentary Studies and Production program. Early adopters will enjoy:
- Streamlined admissions procedures for declaring the double major

Student Success in Pre-Approved Double Major
“There was always a part of me that had a really creative side, but I wanted to find a way to embody that while also keeping my drive for wanting to do something big and impactful in terms of politics,” Lesley Paredes Hernandez said. “So, I figured that the perfect way to do that was documentary film.”
She is passionate about bringing representation to historically marginalized groups through her work.
