Our medical sciences concentration provides a solid grounding in the natural sciences - like biology, chemistry, and physics - to prepare you for entry into various professional programs (DC, MD, NP, OD, PA, OT, and PT). You also complete foundational courses to understand the biomechanical, neuromuscular, physiological, and psychological responses and adaptations to exercise. The concentration-specific courses, electives, and fieldwork or internships weave together to ensure that you are job-ready and confident in your skills. This prepares you for graduate training in biomechanics, ergonomics, exercise physiology, prosthetics, and sport psychology.
For those interested in pursuing post-graduate professional programs
