Ciao, my name is Lio and I studied abroad in Florence in spring 2025. There, I took courses in oil painting, fashion design, and experimental photography through a dual program with CEA CAPA and SRISA. Lauren Leighow studied in Granada, Spain, but rode a camel in Morocco!
My best advice for study abroad? DO IT! I was able to make it work financially and academically—fulfilling requirements for my degree and saving money to make it happen—and I’m so grateful I did. Living in Granada, Spain ended up being the most rewarding and beautiful experience of my life. I learned so much about myself, the wider world, and the Spanish language.
