Bringing together students from across disciplines, the Pep Band provides a dynamic performance experience that complements Ithaca College’s strong tradition of musical excellence while embracing the excitement, accessibility, and community‑building power of contemporary pep band culture. Performances are designed to energize audiences, support IC teams, and create shared moments of pride and connection for students, alumni, and fans.

The Pep Band also offers students meaningful opportunities for collaborative music‑making outside of traditional concert settings—emphasizing versatility, responsiveness, and engagement with live audiences. Through its presence at home football events and campus celebrations, the Ithaca College Pep Band contributes to a vibrant, inclusive campus experience where music and school spirit go hand in hand.

We recognize and deeply appreciate Monica Bertino Wooden '81, whose generous gift allowed this to be possible.

Membership is open to students across our entire campus, not just MTD. We may conduct auditions if there seems to be an extraordinary level of membership interest to determine the band's personnel.
