Adam Jackson is an award winning writer and director based in New Hartford, NY. He received his M.F.A in Film from Columbia University School of the Arts, and his B.A. in Creative Writing from SUNY Oswego. Adam is the recipient of multiple honors for his work in film, including Best NY Student Short Film at the 2021 Upstate New York Horror Film Festival and an Official Selection at the 2021 Roswell Sci-Fi Film Festival for his short film Overgrown, and had his untitled political thriller TV pilot selected as a Faculty Selects project at the 2022 Columbia University Film Festival.
Adam is also highly involved in theater, and is a two time recipient of Excellence in Direction from the Theater Association of New York State for productions of Letters to Sala and Rabbit Hole. He recently assistant directed a production of Godspell at Utica University, and was stage manager and lighting operator for a sold-out run of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at Players of Utica in Utica, NY.
