Dr. Christine D. Bataille is Associate Professor of Management, and currently serves as Chair of the Management Department, in the Ithaca College School of Business. She teaches courses in organizational behavior and leadership at the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as the management capstone course, Leading Organizational Change. Her research interests include narrative identity work, career transitions, and work-life balance. Together with her colleagues, Dr. Bataille has published her research in Academy of Management Review (in press), Harvard Business Review, Journal of Management Studies and Journal of Vocational Behavior. Dr. Bataille serves on the Editorial Review Board of Journal of Management Studies and regularly reviews for several leading management journals. Prior to embarking on a career in academia, she worked in management consulting at Bain & Company and in high-tech product marketing at Intranets.com/WebEx Communications. Dr. Bataille earned her BA, summa cum laude, from Simmons College, her MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and her PhD from the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University.
