Welcome

After 20 years at Ithaca College, Christine Cecconi retired from her role as Clinical Program Director in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology at Ithaca College.  Primary responsibilities included teaching clinical methods courses, supervising graduate and undergraduate students and completing administrative responsibilities in the Ewing-Ithaca College Speech and Hearing Clinic. Ms. Cecconi's scholarship includes numerous regional and national presentations and publications relating to clinical teaching, inlcluding co-authorship of a June 2011, article in ASHA's Prespectives in Higher Education, describing the development and implementation of a graduate elective course on administration, supervision and private practice. Ms. Cecconi has continued her affiliation with IC as an adjunct supervisor responsible for screening children enrolled in the Tompkins County Head Start and Early Head Start programs. 

During January 2006, a team of students and faculty from Ithaca College went to Antigua for a cross cultural and collaborative educational experience. One course, taught by Professor Cecconi, was Interdisciplinary Fieldwork that took place at the Adele School for Special Childen.
