Jennifer Herzog is an actor, instructor, and producer from New York City, now based in Central New York. She has taught acting at Ithaca College since 2010. She also taught acting at Binghamton University for two years.
Her recent film credits include the supporting lead role in Hilgartner Productions' inaugural feature, NO CHOICE, which premiered in Los Angeles in June 2025 (at the famous Chinese Theatre) in the prestigious Dances WIth Films festival, where it won the Grand Jury Prize.
Recent theatre roles in Ithaca include: Sherlock Holmes in MS. HOLMES & MS. WATSON, APT 2B by Ithaca College theatre alum Kate Hamill, AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY, and THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH, all with the Hangar Theatre; THE SAINT, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT by Saviana Stanescu, STORM COUNTRY, and A CHERRY TIMEDIVE with Cherry Arts; IN THE NEXT ROOM, OR THE VIBRATOR PLAY with Homecoming Players, a developmental concert reading of Paula Vogel’s play INDECENT with the playwright at Cornell University, and a staged reading of Anna Ziegler’s THE LAST MATCH with the playwright, presented by On The Verge in conjunction with the New Voices Literary Festival and Ithaca College Theatre Arts.

Off-Broadway & New York City theatre credits include: MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING (Hero) with Gorilla Repertory; THE MERCHANT OF VENICE (Jessica) directed by Eve Adamson, THE CRADLE WILL ROCK (Sister Mister), and THE MISANTHROPE (Eliante) at the Jean Cocteau Repertory; the world premiere of YENTL in Yiddish, directed by Robert Kalfin, with the Folksbiene National Yiddish Theatre; and numerous productions with companies including La MaMa ETC, Abingdon Theatre Co., Prospect Theatre Co., Expanded Arts, Vital Theatre Co., Jewish Repertory, and Theater For The New City.
Jennifer taught acting at Ithaca College's Summer Music Academy for the first four years of it's existence, and has previously served as a Resident Teaching Artist for the Hangar Theatre, working with their Project 4 "Artists In The Schools" Program, and their "Next Generation" School Of Theatre.
As a producer, Jennifer helped build two different Ithaca-area non-profit theatre companies from the ground up: The Cherry Arts, and Civic Ensemble, a company she co-founded in 2012. She served as Associate Artistic Director for each company for three years.
Jennifer holds a B.F.A. in Acting from Ithaca College, and she has been a proud member of Actors' Equity Association for a quarter of a century.
