Jenn Sharma is a Clinical Instructor for the Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. She has worked as a medical speech-language pathologist (SLP) specializing in the care of adults and geriatric individuals since 2009. Jenn has provided SLP services in various settings across the continuum of care including acute care, acute rehabilitation, sub-acute rehabilitation, long term care, outpatient and home health care.
Jenn is passionate about mentoring students and providing supportive and strength-based clinical supervision. Her goal is to foster future SLPs’ confidence, competence, and joy in delivering SLP services. Jenn loves being an SLP and finds deep fulfillment in creating strong, collaborative relationships with clients and caregivers through person-centered care.
In addition to providing clinical supervision, she continues to practice at a local skilled nursing facility providing SLP services to individuals receiving short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.
Jenn has an M.S. from Ithaca College in Speech-Language Pathology, a B.S. from Binghamton University in Human Development.
