Robin Guiver is a professional actor, movement director, and educator with over twenty years of experience across theatre, film, and television. Originally from London, he trained in Lecoq-based physical theatre and has since worked on major international productions, both on stage and screen.

Robin’s stage career includes performing in the original West End cast of War Horse as an actor, puppeteer, and movement associate; contributing to the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony; and appearing in the award-winning production Light at the London International Mime Festival. His work has toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe, spanning both scripted and devised theatre.

On screen, Robin is known for his performance in Dear Brother , the viral Johnnie Walker advertisement acclaimed as one of the greatest commercials of all time. His acting credits also include Doctor Who , Wicked , and numerous award-winning short films.

Behind the camera, Robin founded Performance FX , a specialized training company that prepared actors for complex performance challenges in the UK film industry. His work helped bridge live-action and digital performance on major projects such as Fantastic Beasts , The Little Mermaid , Snow White and Wicked.

Robin has also contributed as a freelance movement artist and puppeteer on films including Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire , Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom , and Gravity .

As an educator, Robin has taught at institutions including Cornell University, Rose Bruford College, and the London International School of Performing Arts. His teaching emphasizes screen acting, movement, and devised theatre, blending classical techniques with contemporary industry practices to prepare students for the evolving demands of performance in both theatre and film.
